Victorian Edinburgh: ‘Antique’ Smith has just been accused of forging manuscripts by Robert Burns and other historical figures. Join us to learn more about the life and trial of ‘Antique’ Smith and the art of literary forgery. In our interactive workshop, participants have the option to try their hand at aging paper and writing with a quill pen and nib.
Places are free but capacity is limited and booking is essential.
The session lasts around 90 minutes and is suitable for ages 12 and above.
