Information
The media are increasingly highlighting instances where Artificial Intelligence (AI) has failed its users, resulting accusations of gender or racial discrimination, risks to healthcare, increased business costs and much more. But what they don’t often discuss is the root cause of the failure that can happen at any stage of an AI’s design and development or in its use.
Join members of the RAInS project at the University of Aberdeen for this online, interactive event which will encourage you to consider what, or who, is responsible when the AI gets it wrong.
The RAInS project is EPSRC-funded project researching the processes by which AI systems can be made accountable, and developing an accountability structure for a range of stakeholders.
